Setting up Your Business in Turkey

Incredible, yesterday one of my customers came to me and said, that his accountant told him, that you need at least 50.000 US dollars and a Turkish partner to setup a new business in Turkey.

That changed in 2003. All regulations now are the same as for Turkish Nationalities. No need for 50.000 dollar no need for a Turkish Partner.

But why told his accountant 2011, the old regulations. The answer is quite simple.

There are a lot of Accountants and Notary in Turkey which are not up to date with the new regulations. Due to the fact that they do not setup a company for foreign nationalities.
